My name is Faisal, I'm 17 years old. I entered SOS Children's Villages- Amman when I was 4 years old, This village has been my home ever since, shaping me into the person I am today. Currently, I'm a high school senior, and my aspiration is to pursue a career in law.
As a closely-knit family within the village, I have grown up alongside my siblings, and Mama Amra has been our pillar of strength. We maintain regular contact and cherish family gatherings. A few years back, we celebrated my brother's wedding, a momentous occasion for all of us. Mama Amra has played an irreplaceable role in our lives, guiding us through our academic journeys and offering unwavering support. Our bond remains strong because she has been there for us since the day she joined the village, tirelessly working to provide us with the best.
On an educational and professional level, I served as the local team leader for the Youth Houses in Amman where we organized various volunteer initiatives and activities. I also participated in Children's World Cup from Care Homes, "Hope for Mundial, a football tournament for children and youth in care that took place in Poland. Additionally, I have a passion for cooking and interior design. With support from the Association, I took several courses to enhance my skills, such as a course with Amideast and one in Arduino. After completing high school, I plan to learn to play the oud and enroll in the National Music Conservatory.
We are proud of you, Faisal, and all the ambitious youth. Ramadan Kareem to you and your family.
