Corporate Donations

We work with corporate partners who believe in our mission and are committed to helping children build a sustainable future.

Corporate Donations

Our valuable corporate partners continuously improve the lives of the children and youth under our care.

Your commitment to helping children can be materialised in a multitude of ways through a corporate partnership with SOS Children’s Villages Jordan. The possibilities for this are endless and we have plenty of ideas and projects we would like to share with you.

Together, we can create and coordinate tailor-made projects or campaigns that will tangibly help children and youth, while also supporting your business's brand, interests, and people.

How a corporate can support children?

Sponsor a Family House

You can sponsor an SOS family house by covering part of its needs for one year. In each family house 5 to 7 children live with an SOS mother.

Your yearly contribution of 15,000 JOD towards a family house will cover part of the children’s needs living in that house. This includes; care, accommodation, education, skills, protection, social inclusion, food, security, physical health, social & emotional well-being, and livelihood.

Support a Child’s Education

SOS Children’s Villages Jordan prioritises education and personal development for all children and youth in its Family-Based Care Programmes.

Our objective is to support and help children in their life paths towards becoming mature independent adults, acquiring the necessary skills that will allow them to take responsibility of their own futures, as well as the capacity to contribute positively to Jordan’s future.

We believe that every child is a unique individual with the right to participate in his/her own development and future.

For this reason, each child and youth at SOS Children’s Villages Jordan works on the design and creation of his/her “personalised individual development plan”. This plan is done yearly by every child with the support and help of his/her SOS mother, social workers and youth care specialists.

We ensure that every child at SOS Children’s Villages Jordan receives high quality school education. After school we also support and guide the youth to undertake university studies or vocational training. You can cover the School needs for a child or youth, including:

  • Stationery
  • School fees
  • School trips fees
  • School uniform

Education fees equals (1,000) one thousand JOD per child per year.

Cause-Related Marketing

Partnering with SOS Children’s Villages on a cause related marketing campaign can help differentiate your brand, improve consumer loyalty, attract new consumers and most importantly provide support for children. This would involve adding a small amount to each receipt as a donation for SOS or donating a percentage of your profits for a specific agreed period.

More and more consumer surveys show that consumers are more inclined to purchase a product that supports a charitable cause. In a highly competitive business market, cause-related marketing is an innovative way to differentiate your company and products from the competition, while making a difference in the community.

Youth Internships and Job Shadowing

Companies play a crucial role in supporting the youth in the care of SOS Children’s Villages in charting their career paths and unlocking their full potential. By offering training programs tailored to enhance their employability and job prospects, companies can empower these youth to thrive in the workforce. Additionally, providing opportunities for internships and job shadowing enables them to gain valuable practical experience and insights into various industries. Through initiatives like YouthCan!, companies can address the pressing issue of youth unemployment.

YouthCan! is a global partnership dedicated to youth employability, collaborating with corporate partners to offer personalized training, internships, job shadowing, and mentoring to young individuals preparing to enter the job market. Through this partnership, corporate partners volunteer their time and expertise to provide one-on-one and group mentorship sessions, guiding young people as they transition into the workforce. This collaborative approach not only addresses the challenges faced by youth without parental care but also fosters a supportive environment where young individuals can thrive and contribute positively to society.

In-kind donations

We welcome and appreciate in-kind donations and you can donate your services and products to children and youth to help fulfill their needs. This can include food, equipment, furniture, capacity building, training courses and others.

All donated goods and services are evaluated and assessed to ensure they meet the needs and best interests of the children, youth and their houses.

Volunteering!

Increasingly employees want to work for companies that have a strong commitment to social responsibility. Working with SOS Children’s Villages Jordan to develop an employee engagement program can help improve employee productivity, increase employee retention rates, support professional development, and help attract high-quality employees.

There are a number of effective ways to engage your employees in a partnership with SOS Children’s Villages Jordan:

Create an Annual Giving Campaign –Once a year, set a fundraising target for your company and encourage each employee to make a small donation. Offering prizes and incentives will help get employees excited about the initiative. Employee donations are tax deductible and the funds you raise will make a real difference.

Host a "Lunch & Learn" Session – Invite a speaker from SOS and bring your employees together over lunch to learn about the challenges children and families face and how your partnership with SOS Children’s Villages is making a difference.

Hold a Casual Workday – Help meet your fundraising target, by offering employees the chance to make a small donation in exchange for wearing casual clothes or their favorite sports team jersey to work on a specific day.

Establish a Payroll Giving Program – Make your CSR commitment a part of your company’s everyday culture. Offer employees the opportunity to make a small donation from each paycheque. Over time this can help hundreds of children and families in a year.

Match Employee Donations – Encourage your employees to donate, and match your employees' donations to show that you share their commitment to the community.

Volunteer With Us- Employees can volunteer individually or in groups to support children and the three villages in Amman, Irbid, and Aqaba.

All donations are tax-exempted.
