As part of its commitment to its social responsibility role, Capital Bank recently signed a cooperation agreement with SOS Children's Villages Jordan, under which the bank will contribute to funding and supporting the care programs and initiatives provided by the association for children and youth in Jordan.

The agreement was signed by Capital Bank's CEO, Mr. Tamer Ghazaleh, and the Chairman of SOS Children's Villages Jordan, Engineer Mustafa Weshah, at the bank's headquarters, in the presence of senior staff from both sides.

During the signing ceremony, Ghazaleh said: “This agreement falls within the framework of Capital Bank’s social responsibility strategy, through which the bank seeks to support institutions and charitable organizations that provide valuable services to the Jordanian community. At Capital Bank, we believe in the importance of our role in helping children and youth achieve their dreams and aspirations, and building a better future for them and for the country.”

Ghazaleh praised the exceptional efforts made by SOS Children's Villages in caring for children and youth who have lost parental care within family homes, in addition to providing support for young men and women up to the age of 24 to help them reach independence.

For his part, Engineer Mustafa Weshah, Chairman of SOS Children's Villages Jordan, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Capital Bank for its generous support. He said: “We are pleased to collaborate with Capital Bank, and we highly value this kind of initiative, which will enhance our ability to provide comprehensive care for children and youth who have lost parental care. We are confident that this partnership will be fruitful and sustainable, benefiting everyone. We hope that this initiative will be the beginning of a series of successful partnerships aimed at serving the community and promoting social solidarity.”
