In a step aimed at enhancing cooperation and communication between youth organizations, Al-Hussein Youth Award, represented by its Director, Mr. Ayman Riyad Al-Mufleh, and SOS Children’s Villages Jordan, represented by its National Director, Ms. Rana Farouq AlZoubi, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to foster collaboration in various areas that support youth issues in Jordan.

Mr. Ayman Riyad Al-Mufleh emphasized that this agreement comes within the context of strengthening existing relationships and activating cooperation between the two institutions in alignment with the strategic goals of both Al-Hussein Youth Award and SOS Children’s Villages Jordan. He highlighted that the collaboration aims to provide opportunities for youth, develop their skills, encourage youth participation, and foster individual self-development, while also enhancing a sense of belonging and active citizenship.

Al-Mufleh also noted that the continuous coordination between Al-Hussein Youth Award and SOS Children’s Villages over the past years has paved the way for this agreement. He referred to upcoming camps that will be held in collaboration between the award and the association, stressing the importance of these camps in training and empowering youth across all aspects of life, both socially and practically.

On her part, Ms. Rana AlZoubi explained that the agreement covers several areas of cooperation, including ongoing activities in camps, organizing workshops, youth, and cultural activities, and implementing joint projects that align with the goals of both institutions. She emphasized that this collaboration will facilitate the exchange of expertise to effectively address youth issues.

AlZoubi highlighted the crucial role of the Al-Hussein Youth Award in supporting young people through camp activities, pointing out that many participants have achieved success stories thanks to this cooperation. She affirmed that the joint activities will contribute to the personal development of youth, enabling them to seize opportunities and succeed in various aspects of life.

Mr. Ayman Riyad Al-Mufleh also mentioned the award's plans to hold summer camps and provide training to empower youth and participants in all aspects of life, both practically and socially. He reiterated the strong and ongoing relationship between Al-Hussein Youth Award and the association, underscoring the importance of supporting children who have lost parental care and alternative families. He also emphasized the development of the permanent camp for the Al-Hussein Youth Award in Tabrbour for future summer events for all participants.

The MoU outlines broad areas of cooperation, including organizing joint events, establishing a joint work program that will be reviewed periodically, and stressing the importance of maintaining confidentiality of shared information between the two parties. The agreement also affirmed a commitment to the child protection policies upheld by both institutions.

In conclusion, both parties expressed their continued commitment to strengthening the ties between the two organizations and developing youth work in Jordan, in a way that serves mutual objectives and contributes to sustainable community development.
