Ayat: Nurturing Bright Futures

I'm Ayat, and I serve as a caregiver at Amman Children's Village, holding a master's degree in education. I embarked on this journey approximately a year ago, and despite its brevity, it has proven to be the most rewarding experience of my life. The profound positive changes in the children's lives under my care have been truly remarkable.

Currently, my home is blessed with six children, all under the age of ten. This new and unique experience has presented its own set of challenges, distinct from any I've encountered before. As with any fresh start, there was an adjustment period, as I worked on building rapport, understanding each child's individuality, and addressing their diverse needs, given their close ages.

Over time, we've succeeded in establishing effective channels of communication, fostering harmony, and adapting as a cohesive unit. Today, the most cherished moments are those spent together, where my role is to provide them with a nurturing environment filled with love, warmth, and above all, security. Their accomplishments, both socially and academically, fill me with immense pride.

As I look to the future, my focus turns to devising plans for the development of these children, whom I now consider as my own. While my time with them may be relatively short, I am driven by the desire to make a lasting, positive impact on their lives with the support of the Association. I hope to see them through their educational journeys, witness their graduation, watch them integrate into society as capable and accomplished young individuals. Insha'allah, I am committed to upholding this responsibility and trust.
