Waseem Celebrating Art and Aspirations: My Journey as an Artist

My name is Waseem, and I am 16 years old from Aqaba Village. Today, I want to share my journey as an artist, a journey that began when I was just a child attending the SOS kindergarten. It all started with the fascination of blending colors on paper.

As I progressed to the third grade, my mother in the village, noticed my talent for drawing. With the unwavering support of my family and the passage of time, I decided to nurture this talent and turn it into something more significant, aspiring to achieve all the dreams I held close to my heart.

Drawing is my way of expressing a multitude of emotions – joy, sadness, and everything in between. I take pride in the fact that I sold my first two drawings when I participated in a competition and emerged victorious. Over time, I expanded my portfolio, collaborating with institutions like the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Education, the Union of Women's Associations, and others.

My ultimate dream is to become an internationally recognized artist, sharing my talent with the world because my art always comes straight from the heart. When I paint with my heart, I'm confident that my work will resonate with people far and wide.

In addition to my passion for drawing, I also practice playing the oud because music provides yet another avenue for me to express my feelings.

Lastly, I want to express my gratitude to everyone who has supported me along the way. Thank you to my mother, my SOS family, my brothers, and sisters. May God bless you all.
