Naua, an initiative of the Crown Prince Foundation, has signed a cooperation agreement in partnership with SOS Children's Villages Jordan. The purpose of this agreement is to secure funding and support from individuals and companies for the prominent programs of the association, which will be featured on the Naua online platform. This includes providing sponsorships for children under the care of the association in its three villages located in Amman, Irbid, and Aqaba, as well as in the youth homes for both boys and girls.
The agreement was signed by the National Director of SOS Children's Villages Jordan, Mohammed Al-Shalalda, and the Chief Executive Officer of Naua, Ahmed Al-Zu'bi. Al-Shalalda expressed his pride in this partnership, affirming that the support coming through this platform will contribute to securing the needs of the children and youth, and that this partnership underscores Naua's belief in the vision of SOS Children's Villages Jordan, which revolves around providing a warm home for every child.
Under this agreement, individuals and companies will have the opportunity to learn about the various programs of the association and contribute their support. In turn, the association will utilize these donations to fund programs that ensure the needs of children, such as education and healthcare, according to a clear action plan agreed upon with Naua. Naua will monitor the progress, gather information about the achieved impact, and present it on the platform.
Ahmed Al-Zu'bi, the CEO of Naua, emphasized the importance of this partnership with credible institutions that have a clear societal impact, stating, "We take pride in our partnership with SOS Children's Villages and its reliance on the Naua platform." He further mentioned that Naua will work with SOS Children's Villages to feature their key programs on the platform, aiming to attract support for these programs and assist in providing a dignified life for orphaned children. Al-Zu'bi added that Naua operates without fees or deductions, providing this service for free to promote social responsibility and volunteer work, ultimately contributing to community empowerment, measuring impact, and addressing the needs of vulnerable groups more effectively.
It is worth noting that SOS Children's Villages Jordan is a nonprofit national institution established in 1983, providing care for around 250 children without parental care in its three villages located in Amman, Aqaba, and Irbid, as well as in its eight youth homes. The care model is built on four principles: mother, brothers and sisters, home, and village. In each home within the village, a mother provides care for five to seven children in an environment of love and affection resembling that of a natural family.
Naua is a nonprofit online platform and one of the initiatives of the Crown Prince Foundation. It falls under the realm of the foundation's strategy for charity and community service, aiming to connect the private sector and individuals with nonprofit organizations and associations to encourage charitable and volunteer work. Its goal is to enhance community empowerment, measure impact, and raise awareness while facilitating easier access to the most needy segments and sectors.
