Bank of Jordan has renewed its partnership with SOS Children's Villages Jordan, recognizing the importance of supporting the Association in carrying out its humanitarian mission of caring for children who lost parental care and without family support. Through this partnership that began in 2004, the bank sponsors the ongoing expenses of a family home within SOS Children's Villages.
The renewal of the partnership was signed by Mr. Saleh Hammad, General Manager of Bank of Jordan, and Mrs. Rana AlZoubi, National Director of SOS Children's Villages Jordan.
Mrs. Rana AlZoubi expressed her pride in this longstanding strategic partnership, highlighting the significance of the bank's support that assists the Association in achieving its desired goals of nurturing independent and capable young men and women who can actively contribute to Jordan. She mentioned that the partnership between SOS Children's Villages and Bank of Jordan has contributed to covering part of the living expenses for children who lost parental care, ensuring them a dignified life. Additionally, the partnership has renewed the football and basketball fields in Amman Children's Village, providing safe spaces for children to enhance their physical and mental well-being, which are crucial services provided by the Association.
Mr. Saleh Hammad affirmed that renewing the strategic partnership with SOS Children's Villages Jordan strengthens the bonds of effective community partnership between them. This support aids programs targeting children who require necessities such as food, shelter, education, and healthcare. He emphasized the bank's commitment to providing the necessary support to enhance the capabilities and potential of the Association, enabling it to fulfill its developmental and charitable mission optimally, aligning with the bank's orientations and its dedicated programs for community service.
Hammad added that this agreement is a significant step toward supporting economic and social development. He underscored the bank's endeavor to establish an integrated system of cooperation and contribute to the continuous effective partnership in building a strategic cooperation with community institutions. This support is part of a package of initiatives and programs sponsored by the bank, stemming from its consistent role and commitment to enhancing the private sector's contribution to developmental projects in line with its corporate social responsibility strategy.
