SOS Children's Villages Jordan launched its campaign "Zakatak Baraket Malak", which translates into "Your Zakat, Your Blessing", during the blessed month of Ramadan, to encourage benefactors to support children and youth in its care through its three villages, community houses, and youth houses in Amman, Irbid, and Aqaba.
This year's campaign comes with the slogan "Zakatak Baraket Malak," to emphasize the importance of giving Zakat and its rewards, especially in the month of mercy and goodness, the blessed month of Ramadan. Both AlMarai Company and Loyal Company have provided their support to the SOS Children's Villages campaign, affirming their belief in the Association's message and the importance of supporting this category of children.
The Association provides the opportunity to support and sponsor children with no parental care through various means, including the website, eFAWATEERcom, e-wallets, and other donation methods available through the Association's website and social media pages. Donors can also contact the Association's hotline at 5658885 - 0799541600.
Those willing to contribute can fulfill their Zakat or support children permanently, with the monthly sponsorship value for a child being 15 Jordanian dinars, while the sponsorship value for a family consisting of (5-7) children is 50 Jordanian dinars monthly. Additionally, corporate sponsorship for a family house in the villages is 15,000 Jordanian dinars, covering part of the ongoing expenses for one year.
It is worth mentioning that the Association provides comprehensive care for children and youth with no parental care and supports youth up to the age of 24 to help them reach independence. The care model in SOS Children's Villages provides integrated care for children and youth, covering various aspects including Accommodation, Education and Skills, Protection and Social inclusion, Food Security, Physical Health, Livelihood, Social and Emotional Well-being in a warm family atmosphere. The Association works in the spirit of the UN Guidelines for the Alternative Care of Children and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, and promotes these rights around the world. Central to its strategy and work are the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
