SOS Children's Villages Launches its Eid Al-Adha Campaign "Their Eid is Complete with Your Giving

SOS Children's Villages has launched its Eid Al-Adha campaign this year under the slogan "Their Eid is Complete with Your Giving," aiming to encourage individuals to support children and youth without parental care who are cared for by the organization and to bring joy and happiness to their hearts.

This year's campaign focuses on highlighting the importance of generosity and kindness among people and aims to promote the spirit of solidarity and social cohesion, which has both spiritual and social benefits. The campaign also seeks to revive values of compassion and love within the community, reminding them of the importance of sharing joy with others.

The organization indicated that those willing to contribute can support the campaign through various means, including the website, eFAWATEERcom, the CliQ service: "SOSJORDAN," electronic wallets, and other donation methods available via the organization’s website and social media pages. Donors can also call the hotline numbers: 5658885 – 0799541600.

It explained that individuals can support children on an ongoing basis, with the cost of sponsoring a child being 15 JOD per month. The cost of sponsoring a family, consisting of 5-7 children, is 50 JOD per month. Corporate sponsorship of a family house in the villages is 15,000 JOD, which covers part of the operating expenses for one year.

The organization promotes the campaign through various channels, including pedestrian and vehicle bridges, inside major shopping malls, outdoor billboards, social media, and SMS.

It is worth noting that the organization provides comprehensive care for children and youth without parental care and offers support to youth up to the age of 24, helping them achieve independence. The SOS Children's Villages model offers holistic care, addressing various needs such as housing, food security, education, healthcare, psychological support, empowerment, economic security, protection, and social inclusion in a warm family environment. The organization works within the guidelines for alternative care for children and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals are also a core focus of the organization’s work and strategy.
