Amid a festive atmosphere, SOS Children's Villages organized an open day in Amman Children's Village under the theme "World of Joy," under the patronage of Mr. Ali Al-Omari, Assistant Administrator of Marka District, representing the administrator. The open day commenced with the participation of children, parents from the local community, and featured numerous recreational activities including inflatable games, contests, face painting, a magic show, and various segments in the presence of partners and with the support of Carrefour and Hamada Restaurants.
The open day also included a bazaar aimed at supporting young women and ladies from the local community, giving them the opportunity to showcase their products for sale to participants in collaboration with local associations and institutions. Additionally, creative handicrafts and artworks crafted by the village's children after participating in specialized workshops were exhibited.
This event is part of the Association's plan to enhance the integration of village children with those from the local community, and to open the village's doors to guests for a fun day with their families. Mothers, graduates, village children, youth, young women, and their supervisors attended the open day, alongside the board of directors.
The Association will hold similar open day events in the Irbid children's village on Thursday, 31/8/2023, and in the Aqaba village on Saturday, 9/9/2023. Participation is free, and families are invited to spend quality time with their children.
