Amman - October 2023: In recognition of the importance of supporting children and youth who lak parental care, Hikma Pharmaceuticals has renewed its strategic partnership with SOS Children's Villages Jordan to assist the Association in carrying out its humanitarian mission. This partnership includes sponsoring a portion of the ongoing expenses of one of the family houses in the Children's Villages and sponsoring the education of ten children who lack parental care in the villages.
Mrs. Rana Al-Zoubi, the National Director of SOS Children's Villages Jordan, expressed her pride in this strategic partnership and the significance of continuing this unique collaboration. The partnership covers several aspects, including the basic needs of children, their education, and the involvement of company employees in interactive activities with the children. This helps promote the integration of children into the wider community and encourages employees to engage in volunteer work to enhance their spirit of giving.

The association is guided by the UN Guidelines for the Alternative Care for Children and the Convention on the Rights of the Child issued by the United Nations. The Association also aligns its efforts with the principles of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, where the goals of the United Nations for sustainable development come within the focus of the its work and strategy.
